Dear Suntide Owner,
As a resort that hosts thousands of guests each and every year, rest assured Suntide is closely monitoring the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on both Suntide and the local community. We care deeply about your safety, whether you are traveling from a long distance or from just down the street. With this in mind, I would like to share some of the precautions Suntide is taking to protect all of our guests.
Suntide is utilizing the Federal Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines for flu prevention and continually meeting with our staff to ensure the guidelines are being followed. The guidelines include, but are not limited to:
Wash your hands often with soap and water
Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze
Cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve or elbow (not your hands) or a tissue
Try not to touch your face with unwashed hands
Frequently clean and disinfect touched surfaces
Don’t touch or shake hands with people who are sick
Stay home when you’re sick and keep your children home when they’re sick
In addition, Suntide has worked with our commercial supplier to purchase hospital grade cleaning products, including HALT Disinfectant which is a hospital grade, one-step cleaner, bacteriacidal, virucidal, mildewcidal, fungicidal, disinfectant proven effective against multiple types of viruses. HALT is being used to sanitize all surfaces in our guest rooms, as well as common areas, exercise room, vending room and lobby.
